(Auszug, bzw. zum Schluss: Man kann die Gesundheitsreform in der Bildenden Kunst ausdrücken.
Man benutzt die Gesundheitsreform um zu Realisieren. Es geht nicht um Gerechtigkeit und Abwägung der Bedingungen, es geht um Realisation, es geht um Realisation.
Man kann aber auch in der Welt bleiben und das Glück der Abwägung der Bedingung leben.
Also die Gesundheitsreform durchführen.
Das den Ländern vorlegen.
Und alle bestimmten Sachverhalte mit.
Und dann kommt die Abwägung.
Und ist das Bestimmen von Sachverhalten.
Das ist das Antitotale.

"It looks like a strange abstract sculpture...!"

Actually, it's not. It's a model designed by the chief engineers at North Korea's nuclear testing plant, smuggled from Pyongyang to Berlin, delivered through the back room of a Korean deli in Friedrichshain. Evidently, the head model maker has recently been hospitalized due to excessive isocyanate contamination (main component in "Polyurethane", which the model is made of). He was not supplied a respirator or protective clothing (typical North Korean work conditions) and was directed to create a realistic "oozing" effect from the material by mixing a disproportionate ratio of the materials, which results in an occasional slimy, sticky surface, physically illustrating on a smaller scale the effects of toxic trace.

When the artfair was over and all the galleries started to dismantel their stands I started to produce work from the remainings of a performance and installation; a red carpet. It should be mentioned that I was not represented by any gallery at the fair (or any of the other fairs in Berlin for that sake..)
I liked the energy that was released. As everybody was taking down the art and putting it into crates I was putting up a new one - and nobody cared. But the day after I actually had two visitors.
At Emergency Room - Berlin Test I will show the remainings of the carpet. It will be cut into smaller pieces, rolled up and stacked into piles on top of each other. Sandra Norrin 6.10.2006

Antje Majewski Interview 3

Antje Majewski contributes several short videos to the exhibition, in which she visits different areas in Berlin with a camera man and asks random people on the street and in shops for their news of today.
Answers range from "No idea" to long stories from the lifes of the persons willing to answer; very few actually tell some piece of news from media like radio, newspapers or TV. Antje tries to keep the conversation going, drifting away from the initial question. The small portraits of the people she encounters form a portrait of the quarter they live in; from the rich and bourgois Zehlendorf in which three people knew about a problem with an opera, to poor and multinational Wedding in which people were a lot more talkative about their personal lifes and problems.
